Welcome to TracysDogs.com.

In July 2011, we launched our website with one goal in mind: save as many dogs as we possibly could that are facing the imminent danger of euthanasia while housed at San Antonio’s two shelters.  In a few short months, we have witnessed  the “live release rate” at Animal Care Services climb from a meager 30% to nearly 70% as a result.

Along the way we found rescue facilities across the country that were more than willing to accept San Antonio’s “overlooked and forgotten” with an open heart and home. So, TracysDogs launched a National Rescue & Transport initiative.  Our mission remains the same: save dogs throughout the country and find safe havens, no matter where that takes us.  I hope you’ll join us in that mission.
